De manos de nuestro compañero Juan Ramón Hernández os mostramos cómo es la banda sonora en formato LP de la película “The Return of Godzilla” (ゴジラ) de Koji Hashimoto. Esta edición cuenta con 50 temas de Reijiro Koroku en un precioso vinilo de color rojo de 140g alojado en una cubierta con un fantástico efecto pop up, todo ello con el increíble arte de Henry Abrams. Editada por Mondo Tees, su precio es de 30$.
¡Ha vuelto! Tras nueve años alejado de la pantalla grande, Godzilla reapareció por su 30 aniversario en la película “The Return of Godzilla” (ゴジラ). Producida por el creador de Godzilla, Tomoyuki Tanaka, y dirigida por Koji Hashimoto, la película nos devuelve al súper kaiju como el antagonista definitivo que siempre quiso ser. ¡Observa cómo devasta Tokio tras ser resucitado por un volcán submarino y emociónate con la dramática y explosiva partitura musical de Reijiro Koroku! Habiendo trabajado previamente con Hayao Miyazaki e Isao Takahata de Studio Ghibli, Koroku fue la elección perfecta para componer el regreso triunfal de la Gran G, creando nada menos que tres temas para el kaiju favorito de todos.

Un periodista descubre una embarcación perdida hace un par de días. A pesar de que encuentra a parte de la tripulación muerta, consigue descubrir a un superviviente que dice que el barco fue atacado por Godzilla, el monstruo que 30 años atrás destruyó Tokio y se le dio por muerto tras el uso del destructor de oxígeno.
Mientras tanto, la Unión Soviética y Estados Unidos dejan a un lado sus rivalidades cuando un submarino soviético es hundido por el monstruo, entonces piden a Japón una inmediata respuesta ante el inevitable ataque de Godzilla. (Cineycine)
